Kai Havertz Late Penalty SAVES Arsenal vs Leverkusen
Soccer
Arsenal rescued a dramatic 1–1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash at the BayArena. Former Leverkusen star Kai Havertz stepped up in the 89th minute to convert a late penalty past Janis Blaswich, after Noni Madueke was brought down by Malik Tillman in the box. Leverkusen had taken the lead early in the second half when Robert Andrich powered home a header from a well-worked Álex Grimaldo corner. Rules analyst Christina Unkel joins Poppy Miller, Mike Grella, Nigel Reo-Coker, and Troy Deeney to discuss Arsenal's draw in Germany and debate whether game management had a role to play in the controversial refereeing decision.
