Crosby & Malkin Turn Back the Clock as McDavid and Caufield Shine | NHL Week 16 Best Goals
Hockey
Week 16 delivered a perfect blend of vintage brilliance and modern NHL speed. Jason Robertson stayed red hot with a roofed finish, while Clayton Keller powered his way to a clutch late goal. Sidney Crosby showed his timeless instincts with an incredible deflection, and Evgeni Malkin turned back the clock with a beautiful dangle against his former teammate.
The week was filled with elite passing and creativity as Filip Forsberg helped start a Nashville passing play finished by Steven Stamkos, Alexander Nikishkin threaded a perfect sauce to Seth Jarvis for a bar-down finish, and Mike Matheson connected with Cole Caufield for a beautifully timed tally. Caufield wasn’t done, striking again with a dirty goal to complete a hat trick against Boston, while David Pastrnak worked his magic to set up Morgan Geekie at the other end.
Elsewhere, Connor McDavid sealed a comeback with a breakaway goal, Brandon Hagel made a pass from his belly to Nikita Kucherov, and Matty Beniers flashed slick hands for Seattle. The week ended with an overtime winner as Matthew Robertson carried the puck end-to-end to finish off the Bruins with a silky goal.
