Humphreys & Šeško Net As Anthony Goal Earns Point | CLARETS UNCUT | Burnley 2-2 Manchester United

Burnley shared the spoils with Manchester United on Wednesday night, as a topsy-turvy Premier League encounter ended 2-2 at Turf Moor.

An Ayden Heaven own goal - after fine work from Bashir Humphreys - handed Burnley a 1-0 lead at the break, before Benjamin Šeško's quick-fire double early in the second half put the visitors in the ascendancy.

The Clarets weren't to be denied a deserved point though, with a Jaidon Anthony wonder-goal on 66 minutes ensuring honours ended even in BB10.

The Clarets started brightly on a crisp evening at Turf Moor and took a deserved lead in the 13th minute.

Humphreys played a neat one-two with Hannibal on the edge of the area, with the Tunisian midfielder threading a perfectly-weighted ball into the path of Clarets defender, whose cross towards the far-post took a deflection off the foot of Heaven and over the head of Senne Lammens into the back of the net.

Shortly after, Humphreys was then called into action at the other end of the pitch, making a terrific last-ditch goal-saving clearance, heading over Matheus Cunha’s goal-bound effort to keep the hosts ahead.

Midway through the first-half, United thought they had equalised, as Lisandro Martinez hammered home from close range following a corner - but referee Stuart Attwell ruled the effort out with a quick decision for a foul, in the build-up, on Clarets skipper Kyle Walker.
