Maja Chwalińska is in a unique position. She has just made it to a grand slam final and is now ranked 21 in the world but she has to play qualifying for Wimbledon because her ranking was outside of the top 100 before the french open when the wimbledon cut off is set. This means she needs a wildcard to enter the main draw and if she were to be granted one she would be seeded at Wimbledon.
Wimbledon doesn't have a strong history of granting wildcards to non british players with the only wildcard being awarded to someone not from the UK being 2 time champion Petra Kvitova who was in her final year on tour.
Do you think Maja should get a wildcard and if she doesn't - should she still play qualifying?
