I'm joined by American Record holder Rudy Winkler in today's episode. Rudy's 2026 season is off to a great start, with a season's best of 80.88m and three of four competitions over 80m, but this comes in the shadow of a back injury during the offseason. We talked about how he's approaching a new structure for the 2026 season, what it's like to compete in such an incredible era of men's hammer throw, and he gave insights from an athlete on the new support model at the LA Throws Cup on June 27. Access to the live stream and results costs $20, with half going directly to the athletes and half going towards South Bay Athletic Club.
