HIGHLIGHTS | Bayern Munich 4-3 Real Madrid | Champions League
Soccer
Bayern Munich secured a 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in a thrilling second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Álvaro Arbeloa’s side took an early lead thanks to a goal by Arda Güler in the very first minute, leveling the aggregate score. However, just five minutes later, Pavlović found the back of the net from a German corner kick.
Los blancos refused to back down and took the lead once again following a brilliant direct free kick from Arda Güler. Yet, Vincent Kompany’s squad neutralized the advantage shortly after, with Harry Kane clinical inside the box, slotting the ball past Lunin.
Just before the halftime whistle, Real Madrid reclaimed the lead through Kylian Mbappé following an assist from Vini Jr., capping off a frantic and goal-filled first half.
The momentum shifted after Camavinga was sent off for a second yellow card. The Bavarians capitalized on their numerical superiority, scoring two goals in the closing minutes. The final strikes for Bayern came from Luis Díaz and Michael Olise, sealing the tie and eliminating Real Madrid from this edition of the Champions League.
