Both the Orioles and Reds find themselves in the bottom half of their respective divisions as the season nears the mid-point. Despite the sub-.500 records, both rosters feature dynamic hitters capable of explosive offensive nights.

The Friday night opener features a compelling clash on the mound. Baltimore's Trevor Rogers gets the starting nod, bringing a 5-7 record and a 4.99 ERA. Rogers has shown flashes of dominance over the last month and aims to silence the Cincinnati bats. The Reds will turn to veteran righty Brady Singer, who holds a 3-7 record and a 5.12 ERA. Singer has occasionally struggled with giving up home runs, presenting a massive opportunity for Baltimore's heavy hitters.
