Ferdinand Omanyala delivered a statement race at the Kip Keino Classic 2026, winning the men’s 100m in a season-best 9.96.
After a disrupted start that included multiple attempts and a false start, the race finally got underway with high tension. Omanyala overcame a slow reaction to power through the field and take control late, securing his second sub-10 performance of the season.
He finished ahead of Rivaldo Roberts (10.12) and Aaron Brown (10.15), continuing his strong history at the meet.
