I just raced the Capitol 10k and set the course record, but the US 5k Champs is still my main goal. It's time to shock the system by racing a mile on Tuesday. Today, I'm doing my final preparations to try to get my body used to mile pace. I have a track workout of 6x800, 3x400, and 2 miles steady. I also cross train, strength train, and heat train.
