At the Capital Indoor Stadium, Team Canada skates to gold in a close final at Beijing 2022. The team, consisting of Charles Hamelin, Maxime Laoun, Steven Dubois, Jordan Pierre-Gilles, and Pascal Dion, crowned themselves Olympic champions with a time of 6:41.257.
For Hamelin, it was his fourth gold and sixth Olympic medal, tying the record for the most gold medals won by a Canadian Olympian.
