Luca Urlando on 1:38 200 Fly in January: "I had the fastest (Last) 50 I've ever had"
Swimming
Reigning NCAA and World champion Luca Urlando dominated his signature event in Athens on Friday, winning the 200 fly in 1:38.65. While Urlando wasn't trying to focus on the overall time, he did have some positive takeaways from the race. The butterfly specialist liked that he kept his stroke together on the back end of the swim, which showed in his splits as his last 50 was 25.95, the fastest last 50 he's ever had in a 200 fly.
