Femke Bol ran 1:55.60 at the Paris Diamond League to finish second behind Audrey Werro and improved her personal best by nearly two seconds, coming within 0.06 of Ellen van Langen's 1992 Dutch national record, and validating one of the most ambitious event switches in track in recent memory.

Her full history at the distance is short: 1:59.07 indoors in February, 1:57.41 in Hengelo, 1:57.13 in Ostrava, and now 1:55.60 in Paris. Four races, three personal bests, and a finish that puts her third on the world leaderboard for 2026 behind only Werro and Keely Hodgkinson.
