Brooks Glycerin 23 Vs Brooks Glycerin Flex | How important is flex in a running shoe?

The Brooks Glycerin 23 is a neutral road running shoe designed for everyday training and long runs. It features Brooks’ dual-cell DNA Tuned midsole, which uses nitrogen-infused foam for a balanced ride with a touch of energy return.

Compared to the previous version, the Glycerin 23 adds 2 millimetres of cushioning in the forefoot, giving the shoe an 8mm drop instead of the 10mm in the Glycerin 22.

The Brooks Glycerin Flex is a road running shoe designed for everyday runs and long distance efforts at a comfortable pace. It features a plush cushioning system intended to provide soft landings while maintaining responsiveness through toe-off.
