The Buffalo Sabres beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 on November 17, 2025. Noah Ostlund opened the scoring for Buffalo with an assist from Isak Rosen. Jack Roslovic netted one for Edmonton in the second to tie the game. Bowen Byram and Beck Malenstyn scored back-to-back for a 3-1 Sabres lead in the second. Ostlund scored his second of the game to open the third frame with an assist from Josh Dunne. This was the first assist of Dunne's NHL career. Tage Thompson scored an empty netter to close the game.
