Beijing 2022 slalom gold medalist Petra Vlhová returns to the Olympics at Milano Cortina 2026 after an injury kept her sidelined for nearly two years. The Slovak skier was injured in a crash during the Alpine Ski World Cup giant slalom race in Jasná on 20 January 2024, which required surgery on her right ACL and meniscus.
