Steven Bradbury is a four-time Olympian and short-track speed skater from Australia. At Lillehammer 1994, he won his country's first ever Olympic winter medal with the Australian short track relay team. Bradbury was a medal contender at Nagano 1998, but he missed the finals in every event. Four years later, at Salt Lake City 2002, Bradbury won gold in the 1,000-meter event after a dramatic final. This was Australia's first ever gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games.
