2026 NBA Draft: ACC Second Round Recap

Eight former ACC players were taken in the second round of the 2026 NBA draft. Duke's Isaiah Evans was the first player from the conference selected in the 2nd round when the Brooklyn Nets called his name. Ryan Conwell followed next, as he was drafted at pick No. 37 by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Evans' teammate Maliq Brown was selected with the 44th pick, joining Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Staying in Texas, Virginia Tech's Tobi Lawal will join Cooper Flagg with the Dallas Mavericks as they took him with pick No. 48. Henri Veesaar became the 3rd-ever NBA player from Estonia when the Clippers selected him with the 52nd pick. UVA's Ugonna Onyenso was chosen by the Houston Rockets with the 53rd pick, going right after Veesaar. Florida State's Lajae Jones made it 3 ACC players in a row when the golden State Warriors took him with the 54th pick.
