Ireland's Dan Wiffen was competing at the Westmont Pro Swim last weekend, swimming the 800 and 1500 and placing 3rd in both. Wiffen has been training at Cal this season and is enjoying the change of scenery from Loughborough, although he says the training itself is pretty similar.
Wiffen is getting ready for the Irish Championships at the beginning of next month, which will look like tapering in Atlanta while he is watching his brother, Nathan, compete at NCAAs before heading to Dublin.
