It’s once again time to team up at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the PGA TOUR’s only team event, held at TPC Louisiana. Now in its ninth year as a pairs format, the event mixes Four-ball and Foursomes across four days, delivering a unique test and plenty of volatility as duos battle for momentum and FedExCup points with the Cadillac Championship on the horizon. Fresh off his playoff win at the RBC Heritage, Matt Fitzpatrick teams up with brother Alex Fitzpatrick, forming one of the most in-form pairings in the field. A major storyline sees Brooks Koepka return to the event alongside past champion Shane Lowry who won in 2024 with back-to-back Masters champion Rory McIlroy, while defending champions Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak look to make history as the first team to go back-to-back. Rising stars are also well represented, with Michael Brennan and Johnny Keefer making their debuts, while Blades Brown pairs with Luke Clanton as part of the next wave of talent. International pairings add further intrigue, including Tom Kim with Kevin Yu, and the South African duo of Erik van Rooyen and Christiaan Bezuidenhout. With no other event like it on TOUR, the Zurich Classic blends chemistry, strategy and shot making and with major qualification pathways and Signature Event spots in play, there’s plenty on the line in New Orleans.
