Captain Denis Biryukov, who recovered from injury, appeared on the court as part of Dynamo-LO. Maxim Sapozhkov, despite his presence in the application, did not appear at the start. The first break advantage was scored by the guests on the serves of Maxim Belogortsev – 5:3. The Sosnovobortsy responded with a series of effective actions: Roman Murashko's ace allowed the score to be equalized (8:8), and later Denis Biryukov's straight serve reduced the gap to a minimum – 10:11. After a double substitution, the home team's coaching staff was forced to take a timeout when the difference reached four points - 12:16. After a few plays, Murashko once again reminded us of himself with a straight serve, bringing Dynamo closer to the opponent - 16:18. However, a series of own mistakes did not allow us to build on this success, and instead of Dmitry Kovalev, Egor Krechetov appeared on the court (16:22). The game was confidently completed by the guests - Maxim Sapozhkov put an end to it with an ace - 25:16.
On the serves of Semyon Dmitriev, who came in for Denis Biryukov in this segment, the hosts took a breakaway lead and went ahead 6:4. After the 9:9 mark, the Sosnovoborsk players took the initiative, forcing Konstantin Bryansky, the head coach of Dynamo Moscow, to take a timeout (12:9). At the score of 17:16, the guests made a double substitution, and Lauri Kerminen scored a defensive set point – 18:16. The second timeout by the Muscovites at the score of 22:20 helped the opponent to get off the serve. Having an advantage, the guests managed to win back with three set points, and the game went to a tie (24:24). In the tense end, the Dinamo-LO volleyball players were stronger – 26:24.
The third game started with a slight advantage of the atomic guys (5:3). Then the game stabilized, and the teams were level – 10:10. The Dynamo derby justified its status: there was a sense of intensity, passion and high tempo on the court. Later, Dynamo Moscow managed to get ahead and make a break (18:16), but Dmitriev's ace equalized the score again – 18:18. In the end, the guests made an important breakthrough, creating a comfortable lead (19:21). Konstantin Tyushkevich finished the game with a powerful serve, winning 25:22 for the Moscow team.
In the fourth set, the struggle for the initiative continued – 4:5. By the 9:9 mark, the teams had stabilized the game again, but the guests managed to get ahead on Anton Semyshev's serves. At 12:15, Alexander Klimkin took a timeout. In an attempt to change the course of the match, Denis Biryukov, Egor Krechetov, and then Pavel Avdochenko appeared on the court – 13:17. However, the rotation and pauses did not help turn the tide, and the team from Sosnovy Bor continued to lose (17:21). In the final minutes, the hosts narrowed the gap to a minimum, and Egor Krechetov's ace almost tied the score (22:23). However, they were unable to change the course of the game. Dynamo Moscow won the set and the match, and the decisive point was scored by Denis Bogdan's successful attack — 25:23.
