Milano vs Scandicci | Highlights | Italian Volleyball League Playoffs 2026 | Game 2. What a match! Game 2 between Milano and Scandicci turned into one of the most dramatic battles of the 2026 playoffs, as Milano completed an incredible reverse sweep to win 3–2 after being down 0–2.

Scandicci started strong, dominating the first two sets with aggressive serving and efficient attacking, taking control of the match and putting Milano on the edge. It looked like the series was about to be tied… but then everything changed.

Milano came back with a completely different energy in the third set, improving their block-defense system and finding rhythm in attack. From that moment on, they took over the match, winning the next three sets in convincing fashion and leaving no chance in the tie-break.

Paola Egonu led Milano with a huge performance, scoring 29 points and taking over in the most important moments, especially in the fifth set. Rebecca Piva delivered an outstanding all-around performance with 20 points and was named MVP of the match, while Hena Kurtagić made a massive impact at the net with crucial blocks that shifted momentum.

On the other side, Ekaterina Antropova was Scandicci’s top performer with 26 points, but the team’s level dropped significantly after the second set as they struggled against Milano’s improved defense and pressure.

With this win, Milano takes a 2–0 lead in the series and moves one step closer to the final, while Scandicci now faces a must-win situation in the next match.
