South Korea claimed the AVC Women's Cup 2026 title with a commanding 3-0 victory over Chinese Taipei in the Gold Medal Match held at Candon City Arena in the Philippines. The Korean squad showcased outstanding teamwork, disciplined defense, and efficient attacking to secure the championship in straight sets, 25-19, 25-19, 25-22.

The final saw South Korea control the tempo from the opening set, using strong serving pressure and consistent offense to keep Chinese Taipei on the defensive. Although Chinese Taipei fought hard throughout the match and mounted a late challenge in the third set, South Korea remained composed and closed out the match to lift the trophy.

Tournament MVP Kang So-Whi led the champions with 14 points, including 13 attacks and one block. Na Hyunsoo added 12 points, while Jeong Yunju contributed 11 points in another impressive performance. South Korea also benefited from strong contributions from Park Eunjin and Lee Juah, helping the team dominate key moments of the match.

For Chinese Taipei, Chang Yi-Chi delivered an excellent performance with 16 points, while Tsai Yu-Chun added 14 points. Chen Ciao-En contributed eight points, including six blocks, but their efforts were not enough to overcome the balanced South Korean attack.

South Korea finished the tournament as undefeated champions, completing a remarkable campaign and capturing their first AVC Women's Cup title. Chinese Taipei earned a historic silver medal finish, the best result in the team's history at the competition.
