NCAA Relay Champion Bryn Greenwaldt "I have never really done relay starts before this year"
Swimming
After competing in NCAA DII for Augustana over the last 4 seasons, Bryn Greenwaldt decided to use her last year of eligibility with Virginia, the 5x defending NCAA champions. So far, Greenwaldt has fit right in, as last night she anchored their 200 medley relay to victory.
Greenwaldt admitted after the race that this was her first year ever really doing relay starts, and as recently as last month at ACCs, she didn't feel like she had mastered them. Last night, however, she split 21.0 and did what needed to be done for UVA to defend their title in the event.
