El RCD Mallorca ha rendido hoy un emotivo homenaje a Miquel Contestí dando su nombre al palco del Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, que a partir de ahora pasa a denominarse Llotja Presidencial Miquel Contestí.
El acto ha contado con la presencia de sus hijos, Malena y Toni; de la presidenta de la Penya Mallorquinista de Llucmajor Miquel Contestí, Margalida Garau, entidad especialmente vinculada a la memoria del expresidente mallorquinista; y de Cati Guasp, trabajadora del club y siempre cercana a la familia Contestí.
Por parte del RCD Mallorca, han estado presentes Andy Kohlberg, presidente del club; Alfonso Díaz, CEO Corporativo; y Román Albarrán, director del Área Social.
El homenaje ha incluido la colocación de una placa conmemorativa con el nombre de Miquel Contestí en el propio Palco Presidencial. El club ha realizado también una fotografía oficial de este momento como recuerdo de un reconocimiento que quiere poner en valor la trayectoria, el compromiso y la huella imborrable que Contestí dejó en la historia del mallorquinismo. Además, se ha entregado a la familia una placa idéntica a la que permanecerá en el estadio.
