Erik Spoelstra Has NO Excuse Anymore… START Kel’el Ware. Heat DOMINATE against Wizards!

The Miami Heat took care of business tonight with a dominant 132–101 win over the Washington Wizards. Nothing flashy, nothing to celebrate too hard — the Wizards are in full tank mode — but a win is a win, and stacking victories still matters.

But this game wasn’t about the score…

This game was about Kel’el Ware.

Ware finally got real minutes tonight, playing 30 minutes and delivering a monster performance: 19 points and 14 rebounds. Efficient. Active. Impactful. Exactly what Heat fans have been begging to see all season long.

And yet… he still didn’t start.

With Tyler Herro and Pelle Larsson out, Spoelstra still chose to start Myron Gardner over Kel’el Ware. That decision makes absolutely no sense, especially when we’ve already seen which lineup works best for this team.

The lineup that helped Miami start the season 14–7:
Kel’el Ware, Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins, Norman Powell, Davion Mitchell.

It’s the most balanced lineup. The most physical. The most effective. And for some reason, Spoelstra keeps going away from it.

The trade deadline has passed. The Heat are one of only three teams in the NBA that didn’t make a move. This is the roster. This is who Miami is going to war with for the rest of the season.

So why not put the best lineup on the floor?

Tonight, Kel’el Ware proved he should be starting. The question now is whether Spoelstra is finally ready to admit it.
