Elle St. Pierre delivered another statement win at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, capturing the 3,000m title just 8.5 months after giving birth to her second child.
St. Pierre won the 3,000m in 8:26.54 and outkicked Australia’s Linden Hall in a tactical, last-lap battle. This run comes two years after finishing second in the same race following her first pregnancy, but this time she took control with three laps to go and held on late.
