Verona vs Perugia | Highlights | Italian Volleyball League 2026. A massive showdown in Round 21 of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2025–26 season saw Rana Verona host Sir Susa Vim Perugia at the iconic Pala AGSM AIM — and the stakes could not have been higher.

Perugia delivered a dominant performance, winning the match in straight sets 3–0 (25–15, 25–21, 25–23) and sending a powerful message ahead of the playoffs.

From the very first rally, Perugia imposed their rhythm. Their serving pressure dismantled Verona’s reception, their block-defense system worked flawlessly, and their attack efficiency remained consistently high throughout all three sets. The opening set was a statement, as Perugia raced ahead and closed it comfortably 25–15.

The second set was more competitive, with Verona trying to respond in front of their home fans, but Perugia stayed composed in key moments to seal it 25–21.

In the third set, Verona fought hard to extend the match, pushing the score deep into the final points, but Perugia’s experience proved decisive as they closed it 25–23 to complete the sweep.

The MVP of the match was captain and setter Simone Giannelli, who orchestrated the offense brilliantly and even contributed 6 points himself. Opposite Wassim Ben Tara led Perugia’s scoring with 13 points, while Oleh Plotnytskyi, Roberto Russo, and Kamil Semeniuk all made crucial contributions on both offense and defense.
