#ConorMcGregor is officially back.
The former two-division champion stepped to the scale for the first time in five years, and successfully made weight, coming in at 170.5 pounds (making use of a one-pound allowance for a non-title bout) for his welterweight rematch against Max Holloway (170) that headlines #UFC329 on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. McGregor previously defeated Holloway in August 2013, when the two were up-and-coming prospects in the featherweight division.
Holloway was the first fighter to weigh-in Friday morning, followed by Cory Sandhagen and then McGregor.
When McGregor steps into the octagon Saturday, it marks his first appearance since he broke his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He was previously scheduled to return in a fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024, but was forced to withdraw from that bout due to a toe injury. McGregor has also dealt with legal issues outside of the competition, including being found liable for sexual assault in a civil suit in November 2024.
Co-main event lightweight contenders Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett also successfully made weight, both making use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight and registering at 156.
All 28 fighters competing Saturday successfully made weight.
