Josh Kerr ran a strange 800m at the LA Grand Prix by going to the front early, paying for it, and finishing in 1:45 in a race that left more questions than answers about his mile world record attempt in London on July 18. Then he posted a 4x800 workout on his YouTube channel as part of "Project 222," running 1:59, 1:59, 1:50, 1:49 with roughly 6-minute recoveries, which is his most public training reveal of the year.
So how realistic is the world record actually?
In this video, we set confidence levels on Josh Kerr breaking the mile world record on July 18 at the London Diamond League.
