Philippines Volleyball Team Almost Won... AND THEN THIS HAPPENED !!! What was supposed to be a routine win for Iran turned into one of the most shocking and emotional matches of the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship. The Philippines, playing in front of their home crowd, were on the verge of creating HISTORY… but the ending no one expected changed everything.

The match started with unbelievable energy from the Philippines. Fearless, aggressive, and driven by the crowd, they took the first set 25–21 and showed the world they were not here just to participate. Iran responded in the second set, but the real shock came in the third, where the Philippines completely dominated and took a 2–1 lead. At that moment, one thing became clear — the underdogs were just ONE SET away from one of the biggest upsets in volleyball history.
