Where Claire and Lis talk about another busy week of rugby news. We congratulate James Pater on his new contract. Another trip to training where we watched the lads prepare for the visit of Bath and saw the return of the nose strip on one player. We do talk about the game because strangely this has to be a therapy pod even though the Saints won a celebratory therapy pod. There’s a lot to talk about during the game - cameramen, togs being hit by players (everyone is ok!), the question of the role of the weather particularly the sun and the two ‘tries’ that were chalked off.
We do have another Dave on the sofa section - he must be exhausted because he was very busy this week. And Claire has a proper rant about chickens being counted! And she also talks about the Defender Rising Stars U12s Cup which was held this weekend at the Gardens.
We talk Women’s Six Nations and do a round up of Towcester U8s and U11s news.
Lis talk about the results of the Saints Supporters’ Club meeting.
And even though the Saints aren’t playing this weekend, there’s a huge game at Goldington Road as the Blues take on Chinnor. There’s a home semi-final at stake. Get yourself down there and cheer on the Blues - some of whom are Saintsmen.
We did in the end do our homework -sigh….
It’s a bumper edition so the horses and dog walkers will be happy!
Do subscribe , like or give us a rating for the pod - it really helps!
Have a listen and enjoy!
Much love, the Ladies Wot Pod
